I purchased this in Clear Cosmic on December 12th (it’s now January 3rd) and while it’s definitely very pretty and sparkly, the color is already coming off. It’s difficult to capture, but I was able to get some of the scratches in the picture I’m attaching. This case is on the pricier side so I really feel like the color shouldn’t be coming off after less than a month of use. As for the level of protection it provides, it’s fair, but I would suggest still keeping a kung fu grip on your phone because I wouldn’t completely trust it to not shatter if dropped - IMO, this case is more for looks than protection. The buttons line up nicely with the phone and are easy to push in. I do like the fact that the lenses on the phone don’t rest flat against the surface you set it on due to the texture/design on the back of the case. Overall, it really is a pretty case, but I don’t think it’s worth the cost if the color is going to come off within less than a month of use.I’ve had it a few weeks and dropped my phone several times in concrete. Nothing has been been broken but a small piece by the camera but no real damage. Beautiful case and glad it’s saved me a few timesThis case is definitely fashionable and functional. Thin enough to not look to bulky but also resilient enough to have piece of mind.I purchased this phone case in July 2021 and it only lasted two and a half weeks before the beautiful iridescent color started just randomly peeling away. And it being me, I’ve been being extremely Cautious because I just upgraded to iPhone 12 pro max. I’ve been pretty OCD with it and I haven’t put my phone in a purse, book bag, or pocket because I know of the damage and stains that can happen. So if you look in the Two pictures I’ve shared to see the before and after difference, the pink part you see through the phone case is the design peeling off and it’s now just clear instead of iridescent. **Only from me holding it** If you plan on this being your phone case every day, I definitely Would NOT Buy. I even got a matching popsocket, but had to return both…I would recommend that they put the design in the inside of the clear case so that way nothing scrapes or damages it ;( I am writing this review now because Luckily Amazon was very cooperative and helped me with the whole refund process.I just love the way this looks and feels… Would buy againI love the caseVery durableThis is my second purchase of this case in different colors. I have the pink it’s got a great iridescent shimmerThis cover was for my new iPhone 12 ProMax it fits perfectly and gives me the grip I was looking for, plus it's very stylish and I can put my phone face down on any surface.
